Chapter 17: Informal Learning
Informal learning gives learners more control of what, where, and how they learn adn usually involves intrinsic motivation.

The six factors of how informal learning works:
Nature of the outcomes, nature of the experience, origin, role of the student, role of the instructor, and last the role of the instructional designer.

Infromal learning has a value because it is short, inexpensive, and could occur during coffee, lunch, etc....
