It was so nice to have a mid-semester break.

Today,we spent lots of time discussing our next project which is a speech supported by a slide show via Power Point.

Games

Games are big and getting bigger. The spread of interactive, reality-type games is growing exponentially. Some kids can get "lost" in these games and choose them as their reality over real life. Is it good for kids with social problems to get involved in these games? Do games that involve guns and killing cause people who play them to become killers in reality? Should games be censored? Should their sale be regulated like cigarette and alcohol sales? Did cartoons of old (Scooby Doo) cause our generation to engage in antisocial or unlawful behavior? One thing for sure, parents must be responsible for staying connected with their kids and what they are doing.
