Arranging irregular verbs
Master the details of a story, e.g. plot, characters, etc.
Vocabulary - nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.

Integrating these ideas across the curriculum. Other teachers can springboard and develop lesson plans. MLGW bill can work for math and social studies.

Spreadsheet Use in Elementary Schools

  1. Average in Student's Grades-student keeps track of own grades, can see his own progress and what would happen if he scored a 90 on next quiz, etc. Incentive to take ownership of his grades, work harder to pull grades up
  2. Plant Growth-chart a plant's growth (height) and what happens when variables are changed
  3. Spelling-place the letter combination that is being studied that week (ex. 'th') in one column and in another column place a vowel and then change endings to create new words
  4. Recognizing Adult and their offspring in the animal kingdom, learning the proper name for the offspring (ex. cow/calf, horse/colt)
