  1. Speech assignment
  • A description of speech assignment is on the UM drive.

We will give speech assignment in class..a week from today. The time limit on the speech is 4 to 5 minutes. Presentation needs to be on keynote or Powerpoint. If you have access to a lab, try presentation out on Mac.

  • You can use Powerpoint, inspiration or Photoshop to do project but Powerpoint is preferred.
  • Go up to slideshow and select presenter tools

Here’s a great site on making Powerpoint look the same in Windows and Mac.

  • You do not have to put scripts on your powerpoint but do bring them to class.

  • The professor updated the slide presentation assignment making project the minimum of seven slides.
  • Change in plans: upload your script and presentation to UM drive.

  • One person can create the account and all can have them.

on teachable.org it's ok to use copyrighted content but has guideline rules

  • Lawrence or Larry Lessig, associated with US Supreme Court-helped create the Creative Commons..help wrote language to set copyrights with attributions and some restrictions.
