  1. AECT. Association for Educational Communications and Technology. Conference for K-12, higher education, corporate and distance learning.
  2. PIDT. Professors of Instructional Design and Technology Retreat. An annual meeting in May. The meeting is open to all college and university faculty members that teach courses in instructional design, instructional technology, educational technology, and related areas. During odd numbered years the meeting is hosted by BYU and held in Estes Park, Colorado. During even numbered years the meeting is hosted by the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and held at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia.
